What’s New in Glenbrook?

The Stamford Art Association will present "Stamford Art Treasures - Past, Present, Future" at its gallery at 39 Franklin Street, Stamford. The opening will be Saturday June 20 4-6 pm and the exhibit will run through Thursday, July 16. This exhibit, which is the last part of a 3 year program, will pay homage to many of the creative artists of Stamford who are no longer living. The multimedia work of over 25 artists has been collected from family, friends and Stamford institutions such as the Stamford Historical Society and the Ferguson Library. Artists represented include Shirley Krause, Dottie Mayall, Ruben Nakian, Shirley Orlando, Stanley Rowland, Dine Pise, Herb Davidson, David Goldfarb, Betty Griffin Whitmore, Martha Clamage, Jamie Burt, Bob Calrow, Norma David, Louis David, Wanda Birren, Faber Birren, Bob Jones, Alice Rosenthall, Earl Binnen, Joe Ralph, Diane Bernie, Anne Nicholls, Vivian Reed, Ethel George, Bob Francis and Xenia Deitchman.

This program has been partially funded by a CAPP grant from the City of Stamford.
